The final transnational meeting of the KA2 Project “HOSTVET: Improvement Of The Management Of Local Hosting Vet Organizations In Touristic Sector” was held from 13 to 15 of July at Proandi. The project team from Proandi and the partner Mad For Europe from Spain were present at the meeting. Attended online were the coordinator TIA Formazione (Italy) and the partner IED (Greece).
During the meeting, we highlighted two important and dinamic activities: a workshop with 5 trainees from the Restaurant/Bar and Cooking/Pastry courses. Our trainees were invited to imagine an Erasmus+ mobility in Sardinia. Thus, they had to think of 5 personal qualities and 5 expectations related to what they expect from the host company and the place where they will carry out the internship. There was a moment of reflection, discussion and conclusions of the dynamics and our young people gave their testimonies of the mobility carried out in Spain and Malta.
We also carried out the online workshop for host organizations “Training Plan for Host Organizations”, presented by the partner IED with the aim of testing the modules presented during the LTTA in Sardinia (Key Action1 (KA1) PROJECTS, Key Action2 (KA2) COOPERATION PROJETOS, US-Funded Programs). Companies from our region that welcome international interns participated.
We closed the meeting after an analysis of the issues raised and the impact of the project at a general level.
The tourism sector is among those hit the hardest during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its effects can still be felt in 2022 and other serious challenges
